Isibindi Zulu Lodge
Isibindi Zulu Lodge offers visitors an unrivalled cultural experience, taking them deep into the heart of Zululand. Isibindi itself is situated close to Rorke’s Drift, the site of a cataclysmic battle between Zulu and British forces during a solar eclipse.
As well as providing a breathtaking and original cultural experience, Isibindi also caters to safari enthusiasts, offering excellent game drives, walks and fishing trips on the Buffalo River. The reserve is home to many hoofed animals such as the rare Black Wildebeest, Giraffe and Burchell’s Zebra.

Directions
From Johannesburg, travel the N3 highway southbound until you’re almost at Pietermartizburg. This is a long journey, but it is a straight shot down the highway. Once you’re near this destination (near Durban), take a left on the 833 and head toward Greytown. You will continue following the 833 north, past Tugela Ferry and Pomeroy until you see a sign for the Isibindi Eco Reserve on the right. Simply bear right and follow the road for 14km until reaching your destination.
